Volleyball Game Preview: Lansing Christian Pilgrims vs. Fowler Eagles

Lansing Christian hasn't had much luck against Fowler recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Pilgrims will head out to square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Lansing Christian beat Potterville 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pilgrims.

Lansing Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-10, 25-12, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Fowler was able to grind out a solid victory over Portland on Saturday, taking the game 2-0.

Lansing Christian's record now sits at 7-9. As for Fowler, their record is now 22-8-1.

Lansing Christian came up short against Fowler when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Pilgrims avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
