Softball Recap: Lyndon's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Lyndon couldn't beat Wabaunsee on Thursday even though they stacked five runs on them in the third inning. The Tigers fell 13-9 to the Chargers. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chargers earlier this season, when they won 7-6.

Alina Wiley made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with six RBI, two doubles, and one run. Jensen Sturdy was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three runs.

Lyndon's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-13. As for Wabaunsee, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Lyndon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wabaunsee, they will challenge Council Grove at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
