Volleyball Recap: Seymour Comes Up Short

Seymour was the 3-0 winner over Pigeon Forge when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Tigers on Thursday.

Seymour's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-7. As for Pigeon Forge, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Seymour is set to square off against their familiar foe Gatlinburg-Pittman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pigeon Forge will face off against rival Fulton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
