Basketball Game Recap: Perris Panthers vs. West Valley Mustangs

After flying high against the Tahquitz Titans last Tuesday, the Perris Panthers came back down to earth. Perris took a 75-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs on Thursday. Perris was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

It was another big night for Malachi Black, who scored 18 points along with eight assists and six rebounds for West Valley. Elijah Alexander was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with two steals.

Perris' loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for West Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-14.

Perris does not have any more games scheduled as of now. West Valley also has no future games currently scheduled.
