Baseball Recap: Rudyard Comes Up Short

Rudyard entered their contest against Pickford on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 5-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 back in April.

Rudyard's loss dropped their record down to 10-9-1. As for Pickford, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-2-1.

Rudyard didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against Mackinaw City on the 29th. As for Pickford, they have also already played their next game, a 6-1 win against Brimley on the 29th.
