Softball Recap: Manor Comes Up Short

Manor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 11-2 to the Round Rock Dragons. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Dragons from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Manor saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayleen Del Fierro, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Del Fierro brought in this season.

Manor's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Round Rock, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5.

Looking ahead, Manor will face off against McNeil at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Round Rock, they will challenge Cedar Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Ridge will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Round Rock surely won't give up without a fight.
