Soccer Recap: Chino Comes Up Short

Chino and Banning squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Chino had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Banning Broncos by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time the Cowboys couldn't score was back in January, the team can't take the result too hard.

Chino's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Banning, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5.

Chino does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Banning, they will square off against Warren at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Warren will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Banning surely won't give up without a fight.
