Soccer Recap: Moreau Catholic Takes a Loss

Moreau Catholic and Newark Memorial squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Moreau Catholic had to settle for second. They lost 5-2 to the Newark Memorial Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, with their most recent defeat being a 1-0 loss last Wednesday.

Moreau Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Newark Memorial, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-10.

Moreau Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Newark Memorial, they will take on Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
