While Pine's victory against Salmen wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Raiders sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Spartans on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Raiders have posted since September 8th.

With the win, Pine broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 7-12. As for Salmen, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Pine will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Sarah T. Reed at 4:30 p.m. on the 20th. As for Salmen, they are taking a road trip to square off against Pearl River at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
