After soaring to 18 runs the game before, Sylvan-Lucas was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Minneapolis Lions. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Anna Feldkamp made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple. Another player making a difference was Montana Griffiths, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Sylvan-Lucas' loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Minneapolis, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

While Sylvan-Lucas had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
