Baseball Recap: West Union Takes a Loss

West Union managed to slip by Marshall Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles lost 7-1 to the Patriots on Friday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2020.

West Union now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Marshall Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

West Union wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 10-4 defeat against East Union on the 12th. As for Marshall Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-4 win against Tupelo Christian Prep on the 12th.
