Basketball Recap: Alcester-Hudson Comes Up Short

Alcester-Hudson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. The contest between them and the Beresford Watchdogs didn't end well, with the Alcester-Hudson Cubs falling 49-33. The Cubs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Watchdogs from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Alcester-Hudson's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Beresford, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Alcester-Hudson will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Freeman Academy/Marion at 5:45 p.m. on February 18th. As for Beresford, they will take on Garretson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
