Football Recap: Chaffey Takes a Loss

Chaffey fell victim to Montclair and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They took a hard 14-0 fall against the Cavaliers. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

A big part of Montclair's victory came down to the chemistry between Tatianna Valenzuela and her top target Izzie Martinez. Valenzuela rushed for 47 yards while Martinez gained 104 total yards and a touchdown. What's more, Valenzuela racked up 77 passing yards, the most she's had since back in August.

Chaffey's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Montclair, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Chaffey has already played their next matchup, a 26-8 defeat against Chino on the 22nd. As for Montclair, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-12 win against Don Lugo on the 22nd.
