Basketball Recap: Mount Olive Falls to Sparta in First Game of Season

Mount Olive unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 66-23 loss at the hands of the Sparta Spartans. The Marauders haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Mount Olive will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Morris Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sparta, they will be home for the holidays to greet Morris Knolls at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
