Turner has not done well against Tonganoxie recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Everything went the Turner Golden Bears' way against the Tonganoxie Chieftains as the Turner Golden Bears made off with an 11-1 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Turner considering their two-run performance the game before.
For Tonganoxie's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby Clarkson, who went 1-for-3 with a double.
