If Casa Grande was feeling good fresh off their 5-1 takedown of Kelseyville last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Casa Grande Gauchos came up short against the Sonoma Valley Dragons on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Casa Grande's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1-1 and their overall record down to 4-4-2. As for Sonoma Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-7-5.

Casa Grande and Sonoma Valley could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Casa Grande will take on Vintage at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 401 places (612 vs. 211). Similarly, Sonoma Valley (ranked 780th) will meet Napa (ranked 299th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
