Football Game Preview: Healdton vs. Elmore City-Pernell

Elmore City-Pernell will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Healdton at 7:00 PM. Elmore City-Pernell are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.

If Elmore City-Pernell were riding high off their 42-8 takedown of Velma-Alma two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Elmore City-Pernell came up short against Rush Springs last Friday, falling 29-40.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-47, which was the final score in Healdton's tilt against Walters. Healdton were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-41.

Elmore City-Pernell took a serious blow against Healdton the last time the two teams met, falling 14-70. Can Elmore City-Pernell avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
