Baseball Recap: Manual Arts Comes Up Short

Manual Arts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to the Los Angeles Romans. The Toilers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Romans from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Manual Arts' loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Los Angeles, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Manual Arts will venture away from home to square off against Diego Rivera at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. The Toilers are facing the Huskies at the right time seeing as the Huskies are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Los Angeles will be paying especially close attention to Manual Arts' game: after Manual Arts faces off against Diego Rivera, they'll take on Los Angeles again at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
