Baseball Recap: Chilton Comes Up Short

Chilton lost to Rosebud-Lott back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pirates lost 9-1 to the Cougars.

Chilton's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Rosebud-Lott, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-7.

Coming up, Chilton will head out to face off against Granger at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season. As for Rosebud-Lott, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-2 win against Valley Mills on the 11th.
