Avianna Vasquez looked comfortable as she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Maeve Miltner, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Genna Renbarger, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Abby Alwine was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Alwine wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Helmkamp, who went 2-for-3 with one run.
Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for East Noble, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7-1.
