Basketball Recap: Rockridge Comes Up Short

Rockridge lost against Moline back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rockridge Rockets might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Moline Maroons an easy 72-49 win.

Rockridge's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Moline, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rockridge will take on Rock Falls in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rock Falls knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Rockridge likes a good challenge. Moline and Galesburg will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
