Basketball Recap: Cypress Creek Bears vs. Jones Fightin' Tigers
Cypress Creek lost against Jones back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cypress Creek Bears took a 64-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jones Fightin' Tigers. The Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.
Several Bears players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was William Luis III, who posted 11 points. Navaris Mora was another key player, putting up ten points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jones to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kenyon Holmes, who put up 30 points. The dominant performance gave Holmes a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaquail Smith, who had 18 points.
