Highland Tech came tearing into Thursday's game with four straight wins, and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the West Lincoln Rebels.

Highland Tech not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept West Lincoln between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-14.

Highland Tech's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carsyn Redmond led the charge by getting 23 assists and nine digs. Another player making a difference was Josie Searby, who had 11 kills, 11 digs, and two aces.

Don't pin this loss on Jacey White, who kept things from getting worse by getting 16 digs.

The win improved Highland Tech's record to 19-8. As for West Lincoln, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 contests. That's left a mark on their 7-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Highland Tech will face off against their in-conference opponent Lincolnton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, West Lincoln is set to challenge their familiar foe Burns at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
