Seton Catholic came tearing into Friday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.1 points), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Cambridge City Lincoln Golden Eagles as they made off with a 61-40 win. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Eagles, too.

Seton Catholic's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tyson Tremain led the charge by going 5-for-8 to rack up 15 points and seven assists. Tremain is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jackson Feist, who went 6-for-12 en route to 15 points and five boards.

Several Golden Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Noah Patterson, who posted nine points and six rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Patterson now owns an excellent 45.7% field goal percentage. Evan Stuckey was another key player, putting up nine points.

Seton Catholic pushed their record up to 14-10 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26 points. As for Cambridge City Lincoln, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-8 record this season.

Seton Catholic and Cambridge City Lincoln are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Seton Catholic will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Blue River Valley at 7:30 p.m. on March 5th. As for Cambridge City Lincoln, they will square off against Centerville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
