It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Brewer can now relate to. They came up short against the Lubbock-Cooper Pirates on Friday, falling 17-3. The Bears' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Kamren Pride made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Brewer's loss dropped their record down to 22-13. As for Lubbock-Cooper, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 22 of their last 23 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-5 record this season.

While Brewer had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
