Volleyball Recap: South Comes Up Short

South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Palo Verde Panthers.

South may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 17 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17.

South's loss dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Palo Verde, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

South has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Roosevelt on the 18th. As for Palo Verde, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against West Ranch on the 18th.
