Basketball Recap: Watersprings Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Watersprings had won two straight games and Korban Nelson did his part to make it three on Thursday. The Warriors took their contest with ease, bagging a 60-19 win over the Clark County Bobcats for which the team can thank Nelson, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and ten rebounds. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 23 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Demkowicz, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine boards. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Watersprings' victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Clark County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Watersprings is set to face off against their familiar foe Taylor's Crossing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Clark County will square off against rival Leadore at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
