Softball Recap: Pelham Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Saturday. Pelham fell 8-3 to Prattville Christian Academy. That's two games in a row now that Pelham has lost by exactly five runs.

Pelham saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rebecca Roy, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Pelham and nudges their season record down to 11-16. As for Prattville Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Pelham and Prattville Christian Academy will both be playing T.R. Miller the next time they take the field. Pelham will host T.R. Miller at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Prattville Christian Academy will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
