Softball Recap: New Hope Takes a Loss

New Hope lost against East Webster back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The New Hope Trojans fell just short of the East Webster Wolverines by a score of 7-6. While the Trojans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wolverines 4-0 in the first period.

New Hope saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaselyn Harcrow, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. Harley Davidson was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

New Hope's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for East Webster, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Hope will challenge Hamilton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Webster, they will take on Choctaw Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
