East Meadow and Baldwin are an even 4-4 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Jets will square off against the Bruins at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

East Meadow came into their game last Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by Garden City and fell 42-0. While losing is never fun, the Jets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 188th, while the Trojans are ranked 13th).

Meanwhile, Baldwin came up short against Valley Stream Central on Friday and fell 26-14.

Baldwin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for East Meadow, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Everything came up roses for East Meadow against Baldwin in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, as the team secured a 45-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
