Duluth East had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Esko Eskomos. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Greyhounds also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Duluth East was led to victory by Evelyn Viney and Bella Peterson. Viney had 11 digs and one block, while Peterson had five digs. That's the most digs Peterson has posted over her last 12 matches.

Duluth East's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Esko, they moved to 12-2 with that loss, which also ended their 11-match winning streak.

Duluth East will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eskomos: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
