Basketball Recap: Bowman Academy Falls Short of Washington Township in the Playoffs

Bowman Academy and Washington Township squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Bowman Academy had to settle for second. They fell 64-54 to the Washington Township Senators. The Eagles' loss continues a trend for the team, making it 12 in a row.

It was another big night for Rob McGowan, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 12 rebounds for Washington Township. The dominant performance gave McGowan a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Brogan Banker, who posted eight points in addition to ten boards and four steals.

Bowman Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Washington Township, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-4.

Bowman Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Washington Township, they have already played their next game, a 68-53 win against Morgan Township on the 7th.
