Basketball Recap: Daingerfield Comes Up Short

Daingerfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They were dealt a 47-7 loss at the hands of the Harmony Eagles. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Daingerfield's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Harmony, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-10.

Daingerfield has already played their next game (against Hughes Springs), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Harmony will be playing at home against Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Harmony is on a six-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), Jefferson a six-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
