Volleyball Recap: Manor Comes Up Short

Manor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Stony Point Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-14, 25-12.

Stony Point can attribute much of their success to Jaleena Rodriguez, who had 13 assists and three digs. That's the most digs Rodriguez has posted since back in August.

Manor's defeat dropped their record down to 5-28. As for Stony Point, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-19 record this season.

Coincidentally, Manor and Stony Point will both be playing Vandegrift the next time they take the court. The Tigers will host the Vipers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Mustangs will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
