Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mattawan). They put the hurt on the Central Bearcats with a sharp 13-1 win on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but Mattawan sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Mattawan's victory bumped their record up to 9-3-2. As for Central, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Mattawan didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against St. Joseph on the 9th. As for Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, an 8-0 defeat against Harper Creek on the 10th.
