Volleyball Recap: Providence Victorious

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Providence walked away with it. They came out on top against the South Iredell Vikings by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Providence had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-16, 26-24, 25-23.

Providence's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for South Iredell, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Providence nor South Iredell have any future games scheduled.
