Volleyball Recap: Central Catholic Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Central Catholic entered their tilt with Lawrence on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lancers. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lancers, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-16, 25-15.

Julie Hall paced Central Catholic's offense, picking up 11 kills. Hall got some help from Madison Blanchet and her 21 assists. Blanchet also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sydney Faria, each putting up four.

Central Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Lawrence, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-12.

Central Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Billerica Memorial on the 3rd. As for Lawrence, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Lowell on the 2nd.
