Basketball Recap: Mount De Sales Academy Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Mount de Sales Academy won the last time they faced Centennial, and Mackenzie Conley did her part to make sure it happened again. The Mount de Sales Academy Sailors came out on top against the Centennial Eagles by a score of 44-31 on Saturday thanks in part to Conley, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.6 steals per game.

The team also got some help courtesy of Shelby Lewis, who posted 11 points and eight rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played.

Mount de Sales Academy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Centennial, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Mount de Sales Academy will welcome Indian Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Centennial, they will face off against Howard on Friday.
