            Softball Preview: San Manuel Miners vs. Hayden Lobos        
        
		
        
        
            The San Manuel Miners will square off against the Hayden Lobos at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
On Friday, San Manuel beat Bagdad 18-14. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Miners.

 Cienna Maghinay was a standout: she got on base  in four of her six plate appearances with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  double. She has been hot recently, having  posted three or more  RBI the last three times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Laila Ruiz, who  got on base  in five of her six plate appearances with three  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 San Manuel  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 17  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in six consecutive  contests.
 For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Hayden and Superior meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again  on Friday. The Lobos put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp  14-8 victory.
 San Manuel's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Hayden, their victory  ended  a  five-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 12-14.
 Everything went San Manuel's way against Hayden when the teams last played  back in April, as San Manuel made off with  a  21-11 win. Do  the Miners have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lobos turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
