Volleyball Recap: Fall Creek Takes a Loss

Fall Creek extended their losing streak to four on Saturday, dropping them down to 20-17. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Durand-Arkansaw Panthers. The Crickets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

As for Durand-Arkansaw, their win bumped their record up to 11-8. The game was the first time they have beaten Fall Creek on their court since August 29, 2017.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Durand-Arkansaw to victory, but perhaps none more so than Olivia Mueller, who had ten digs and one assist.

Fall Creek has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Ladysmith on the 4th. As for Durand-Arkansaw, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Northwestern on the 4th.
