Basketball Game Preview: Beloit Trojans vs. Smith Center Redmen

The Beloit Trojans will square off against the Smith Center Redmen at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Beloit beat Minneapolis 46-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Meanwhile, Smith Center didn't have too much trouble with Trego on Friday as they won 44-29. The victory continues a trend for the Redmen in their matchups with the Golden Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Smith Center's win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Beloit, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.

Beloit was able to grind out a solid win over Smith Center in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 58-47. Will Beloit repeat their success, or does Smith Center have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
