            Volleyball Recap: Western Harnett Eagles vs. Lee County Yellow Jackets        
        
		
        
        
            Western Harnett lost against Lee County back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Yellow Jackets by a score of  3-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Western Harnett actually scored more points across those five sets (111-107), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 15-25, 25-27, 25-22,  17-15.
 Lee County can attribute much of their success to  Ce'Arah Stringfellow, who  had ten  digs and four  aces.  Savannah Noller also deserves some recognition as  she  served her first  aces of the season.
Western Harnett's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Lee County, the  victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Western Harnett will venture away from home to  take on Pinecrest  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Lee County, they will head out to  face off against South Johnston  at 5:45  p.m.  on Thursday.
