Basketball Recap: Falkner Skates Past Jumpertown with Ease

Falkner won the last time they faced Jumpertown and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Falkner Eagles blew past the Jumpertown Cardinals 65-32. That 33 point margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.

It was another big night for Elijah Mauney, who went 7 for 12 en route to 21 points and six steals. He has been hot recently, having posted 21 or more points the last three times he's played. Chris Nunley was another key player, going 6 of 11 on his way to 14 points and six steals.

The victory got Falkner back to even at 11-11. As for Jumpertown, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-19.

Falkner will host Byers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Falkner has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Jumpertown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
