Basketball Recap: Kendall Comes Up Short

Kendall had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 67-55 to the Barker Bulldogs on Saturday. The Eagles' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row dating back to last season.

Barker's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Logan Murrell led the charge by going 6 for 11 on his way to 17 points. Anthony Taliaferro was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Barker and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Kendall will welcome Global Concepts at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Barker, they will be taking part in a tournament against Finney at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
