Basketball Recap: Eastlake Drops Season-High Score on Juanita

The third road game was the charm for Eastlake, as they earned their first road win of the season. They walked away with a 69-56 win over the Juanita Ravens on Saturday. The Wolves' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Eastlake was led to victory by Brooke Mccartney and Megan Roberts. Mccartney dropped a double-double on 30 points and 12 rebounds, while Roberts went 6 of 14 on her way to 19 points and four steals. Those 30 points gave Mccartney a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Maggie Bredeweg, who posted 11 points and four steals.

The victory got Eastlake back to even at 2-2. As for Juanita, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2.

Eastlake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 80-48 defeat against Woodinville on the 11th. As for Juanita, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 65-47 loss against Liberty on the 11th.
