The Frisco Raccoons are taking a road trip to take on the West Mesquite Wranglers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Frisco was handed a 20-point defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 48-45 win over McKinney North. The score was all tied up 24-24 at the break, but the Raccoons were the better team in the second half.

A big part of Frisco's victory came down to the chemistry between Cobyn Harbert and his top target Brennen Lacey. Harbert rushed for 124 yards and two TDs on only 12 carries while Lacey gained 116 total yards and three touchdowns. Harbert's longest rush was for an incredible 77 yards. Sawyer Borgarello also helped out with an impressive 80 receiving yards.

Frisco was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 341 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, West Mesquite entered their tilt with Sunset on Friday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They blew past the Bison 64-7. With the Wranglers ahead 43-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Frisco's record is now 6-3. As for West Mesquite, their record now sits at 9-1.
