Soccer Game Preview: Magnolia vs. Klein Collins

The Magnolia Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Klein Collins Tigers at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Magnolia's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Magnolia took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged Klein Forest out 2-1.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Klein Collins). Everything went their way against Tomball Memorial on Tuesday as Klein Collins made off with a 6-1 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-1.

Klein Collins hit Tomball Memorial with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jason Guzman (2), Tyler Lee (2), Bridge Mwambukiri, and Kade Taylor.

The victory made it two in a row for Klein Collins and bumps their season record up to 6-3-1. As for Magnolia, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 5-6-1.
