Volleyball Recap: Canton Comes Up Short

Canton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Lewistown Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Little Giants of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Canton's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Lewistown, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season.

Canton will challenge Limestone at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lewistown, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Cuba/Spoon River Valley on the 27th.
