Baseball Game Preview: Calvin Christian Crusaders vs. Tri-City Christian Eagles

For the second straight game, Calvin Christian will face off against Tri-City Christian. The Crusaders will venture away from home to square off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Calvin Christian took a 24-run defeat the last time they faced off against Tri-City Christian, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Crusaders came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles on Monday, sneaking past 4-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

Tyler Hoff made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out 15 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.
