South Webster is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past Strasburg-Franklin 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Jeeps have posted since May 6th.

Green typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Newark Catholic proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Bobcats. Considering the Green Wave have won 17 contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Newark Catholic's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-9. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for South Webster, their win bumped their record up to 21-8.
